GENTBRUGSE MEERSEN

Natuurgebied van meer dan 274 hectare groot. Je vindt er een grote speeltuin, 2 parken, natuurlijke speelzones, grazende runderen, bloemrijke graslanden, veel (nieuw) bos en open wateren en moerassen waar watervogels zich thuis voelen. 

Er is ook een natuurlijk 'blotevoetenpad' van 1 k m lang, dat afhankelijk van het weer en de seizoenen verandert. Verwennerij voor de voeten !

Kom genieten van dit rustig en mooi stukje wilde natuur vlakbij Gent.

GENTBRUGSE MEERSEN

Nature Reserve and park of more than 274 hectare . You will find a children playground, picnic tables, 2 beautiful parks, grazing cattle,flowery grassland, lots of forest and open waters and swamps where water birds feel at home.

There is even a natural barefoot path of 1 km long, the path is changing along with the weather and the seasons. A real treat for your feet ! 

This is really  a quiet and beautiful piece of wild nature close to the city of Ghent.

GENT 

is een fantastische stad om minstens een paar dagen te bezoeken . In de autoluwe, historische binnenstad kan je rustig wandelen en genieten van de prachtige gevels of een bezoek brengen aan de vele bezienswaardigheden. De Sint Baafskathedraal met het beroemde Van Eyck kunstwerk : het Lam Gods. het middeleeuwse Gravensteen, de begijnhoven , het Paterschol, de Sint Pietersabdij .... zijn maar enkele dingen die je zeker niet mag missen .

Ook zijn de  musea een aanrader. Het SMAK, MSK, GUM, Huis van Alijn,... er is keuze genoeg.

Gent is ook een Festivalstad : Gent Jazz Festival, De Gentse Feesten, Het Lichtfestival ....er is hier altijd wel iets te beleven.

We bezorgen je bij aankomst met plezier tips en plannetjes zodat je onbezorgd je bezoek kan voorbereiden .

Er is op wandelafstand een vlotte busverbinding elke 10'min naar het centrum.

Is a fantastic city to visit with enough fun things to do for a whole weekend, if not longer.

In the car-free, historic city center you can stroll around and enjoy the stunning  building facades or visit for instance the.St Bavo's Cathedral with the famous Van Eyck artwork: the Mystic Lamb. the medieval Castle of the Counts, the beguinages, the romantic area of Paterschol, the St. Peter's Abbey .... The  museums are also highly recommended. The SMAK, MSK, GUM, Huis van Alijn, ... there is plenty of choice.

Ghent is also a Festival City: Gent Jazz Festival, De Gentse Feesten, The Light Festival .... there is always something going on here.
